1st Year - Autumn Term

This course will help student to develop skills and efficiency in building 3D forms from concept art.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • examine and create the required level of details for the given scene.
  • transfer the concept art in to 3D forms.
  • manage assert and characters for the project.
  • anticipate students to refine 3D modeling mesh with proper topology.
  • integrate the processes and techniques to create inorganic and organic modeling in the 3D space.
  • prepare students with the skill and competency in 3D modeling tools.

Advanced LSRW skills based input. It will be given to Masters except Management and HM.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • develop and assimilate basics of grammar and vocabulary
  • employ effective language prowess used in formal and informal situations
  • formulate honed and coherent comprehension skills
  • discover myriad and appropriate ways of adroit and proficient writing

Develops drawing skills, improve the ability to observe surrounding world and find the hidden shape and form in every organic & inorganic subject.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • apply their observation skills and draw effectively.
  • develop a unique view on art and its expression.
  • define shape, volume,contour,movement, weight,structure and expression through line,mark,gesture and value
  • compose still life,nature study or isometric composition with symmetric balance.
  • understand the space, perspective, form and shape and other elements and principles of creative drawing
  • analyze tonal variation of lines, forms, volumes etc through observation and practice.

Focuses on the development of a designing skill set through the introduction to design tools.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • apply basic design principles to create digital raster and vector graphics.
  • express their creativity using digital art and better understand the logic and structure behind good design
  • compile graphic work for pre press process with digital medium.
  • understand the use and implement vector graphics tools to create digital artwork.
  • use of vector in print media digital graphics
  • observe the skills to utilize appropriate raster and vector graphics tools.

Through this course student will acquire photography and videography skills for creative visualization and representation.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • understand visual aesthetics by practicing lights, color temperature, story telling through photography.
  • apply the skills of film language by learning and practicing the principles of videography.
  • visualize the various types of photography and its role in visual communication.
  • collaborate with team members to produce a video production.
  • determine the key elements required for look and feel development.

The course is a theory course based on the history of animation, the use of Animation principles and the physics law in animation.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • analyze believable character with personality for use in animation and other storytelling medium.
  • produce and animate hand-drawn objects and characters with naturalistic and expressive movements and pose.
  • visualize the animation out come to be developed with the implementation of animation principles.
  • integrate storytelling skills to create animation sequences.
  • criticize and evaluate the work of others in the area of 2d animation.
  • manipulate and combine media to create advanced 2d animated performances.

1st Year - Spring Term

Develop skills in UV texture mapping and in software’s utilized in shading and texturing of 3D objects.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • apply processes and techniques to creating shaders, textures and to build shading trees.
  • apply techniques in UV texture mapping for both environments and character creation
  • make procedurals and PBR procedures to finalize texture for the 3D forms.

The course focus on traditional, hand-drawn character animation and students learn key industry terminology and practice production procedures.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • develop and animate two dimensional objects and characters with naturalistic and expressive movements and poses in the traditional way.
  • make a series of effective and believable animation sequences.
  • develop and produce layouts and bgs using perspective, composition and colour theory to enhance visual presentation and mood.

Students will be taught about how to develop skills to explore and criticize the artwork.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • produce different form of layouts and designs for use in animation films and other related areas.
  • plan and produce the same concept in different time.
  • criticize and Judge different categories of Concept artworks.
  • visualize develop and presents concept artwork in the form of illustration or drawings.
  • describe a simple story in storyboard with different types of camera angle.
  • transform and develop a simple form to a creative character.

Focuses on improving the soft skills and employability skills of students in order to prepare them for interviews contribute effectively in ,formal settings and acquire skills which are critical for success in the corporate world.

  • identify and acquire traits and skills required in the corporate world.
  • apply successful answering techniques during an interview.
  • practice group discussion and group interaction to effectively contribute in formal settings.
  • make an effective resume and a digital profile to create a strong personal brand.

Focuses on the various tools of rigging to build a human and quadruped skeleton for 3D characters.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • describe the various tools of rigging to build a quadruped skeleton.
  • analyze the various tools of rigging to build inorganic rigs.
  • observe the various tools of rigging to build a human skeleton.

This course will provide an insight on images and the detail in a spoken and written text.

Course Outcomes:Through this course students should be able to

  • create a subject for story, systematically conceive and write a story
  • use the skill of visual story telling by converting story into script
  • create the screenplay and format for the animation project team
