1st Year - Autumn Term

Course introduces the basic features of Microsoft Office, Windows basics, and file management. The course is designed to develops familiarity with Microsoft Word, MS-Excel, Access, PowerPoint, email, and Internet basics.

  • analyze how multiple users can work on the same document
  • understand how to access and share the document from anywhere
  • understand how to create different events using google calendar
  • explore the basics for creation of google docs, google sheets, google forms and google slide

This course offers an overview of what graphic design is and the immense professional opportunities it provides. Students will be inspired and enlightened whilst being taken on a journey to the great works of past and present iconic graphic designers.

This course is an examination of the effect and impact of mass media on contemporary life and society.Impart knowledge about various models and theories of mass commune action and their impact on the society.

Photojournalism course is designed to introduce students to the basic principles of photography and to provide them with opportunities to apply those skills to the more specific practice of journalistic photography. Practice exposure on the working of the digital camera.

  • analyze the various specialization of photo journalism
  • discuss the work of prominent photo journalists

1st Year - Spring Term

Course deals with the various elements of designing in the print media and Industry need students who can design for print as well as online media utilizing various tools and technologies.

  • develop skills in designing and print production like magazine and newspaper
  • evaluate and examine the design art and elements
  • apply the knowledge of basic principles, procedures, and techniques of print publication

The module gives an insight into the press laws and ethics. The students will learn all the constitutional laws governing the mass media. Students will be responsible media practitioners working in the code of conduct prescribed by the legalisations.

Designed to introduce students to the basic principles of photography and to provide them with opportunities to apply those skills to the more specific practice of journalistic photography, deals with the various aspects of practicing Journalism and Industry requirement.
