The Animation & Design is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Animation & Design.
Animation & Design gives students the technological, story-telling and design skills to succeed as animators, visual effects artists and designers in the highly competitive entertainment and design worlds.

Design is all about developing a skill of wondrous thinking using imagination and merging it with technicalities in students. It enables the students to build a designer perspective which helps them in excelling in different variants of design. Animation is no longer used only when creating big-budget theatrical films. Today, these production techniques are also widely utilized in medical research, engineering, television, web content, the performing arts, corporate communications and higher education. The depth and complexity of this exciting field necessitates a rigorous course of study to best prepare students for the demands of careers in these cutting-edge disciplines. Over the course of their education in the program, students will pursue a foundation of design and technology by taking core courses in all aspects of digital media while delving into coursework covering many areas of specialization.

The main focus of this program revolves around making students aware of history, concept and different areas covered in the field of design. Along with theoretical knowledge, students are also provided with practical knowledge as well. The practical training of Animation is delivered in the state-of-the-art computer laboratories that boast of the student to machine ratio, encompassing the hands-on knowledge of industry standard animation and visual effects software’s including Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, Premiere, After Effects, and Z-Brush.
